An archival study of the Holbol Gable’s Baroque influence from 1740 – 1800 in Cape Town, South Africa inspired a new home on the north end. Highlights of the research are the plasterwork and proportions of Morgenster, Ida’s Valley, Libertas, Uiterwyk, Blaauwklippen, and Hazendal colony homes.
